Great job from both our guys today, but Alonso cost himself pole by not staying left, definitely would have lost 2 thousandths by not doing so.

Oh well, great chance for the win tomorrow. Can't wait.

Is that the closest margin in F1 history?

As long as they stay away from each other at the start. Be a shame if it ends up like Silverstone.

I don't doubt it at all. 2 thousandths is basically nothing and not staying left will have cost him at least a hundredth I'm sure. Still, compared to the gap at Silverstone and other races, this is an amazing performance.

And we're half a second quicker than anyone else, thats mad!

Lol...this is exactly like Bahrain: Vettel: 1, Alonso: 2, Massa: 3

Probably more like he ran a bit wide in the last turn and just kept it straight rather than correcting it to stay left

turn 1 is tricky, if you get clean out of it, then you have it. so let's hope for a clean start but that was a real warning to Red Bull... at last!

Bahrain was vettel, massa and alonso.
But this is a very good result for quali. Nando and vettel half a second faster than 3rd place. Wow!!.. and webber quite off vettels pace. Wonder if they gave him last years car.

Am a bit worried about the first 2 corners. Vettel is not a prudent racer, Nando and Felipe better had watch out. Unless its a clean overtake, they should not take it and wait for the tyre stop to jump him.

Finally we can expect a truly good result. Its been a long time. GO FERRARI!!!!!!!
    Silently, like a shadow
