true. An Alonso said that was better yesterday. i guess, we hope he destoys tyres and crashes

I don't know what do you mean, but I hope Ramilton will destroy his tyres (in the first corner of the first lap is the best case scenario) and crash into the two front runners which will clear our way to victory. Than hopefully in Turkey we will strike with full power and destroy (metaphorically) every competition.

But that doesn't change the fact that our winter was awful and it must not happen again in the nearest years.

I'm very glad to see Button ahead of Hamilton. Alonso and Massa looked to get all they could out of the car, and it just isn't enough. 1.4 seconds down is an eternity and really is quite worrisome. I guess we'll have to see if we manage our tires better again. I'm thinking optimistically, unlike a lot of people on here.

Oh yeah. I fear there is no other option here. His speed (or his car's speed) is awesome, their reliability is solid too this year so yeah... he has to start making mistakes.

Well, all it takes is for a mechanic to give the dodgy parts to the wrong car.....

Sorry for the late posting, but after Qualifying I left and now I just came back...

I 'm a bit frustrated from some posts in this forum (no need to tell which), saying until Friday, that pretty much we are (again....) sandbagging and we clearly have made a step forward and we are going for more, even a win, giving hopes to some others...
Anyway, you never know what happens in Sunday, but Ferrari does not deserve to win (the car)...
1.4s in the track with the longest straight, where it's supposed Renault will lose about 2-3 tenths?

Do you really find this as an improvement?
Do you really believe that is it possible to catch them this year?
I really, really, really doubt about it...
You can't even make it 0.5s (in all tracks)...

Take a look of this video and see why Red Bull is there and Ferrari is below...
(and also why conservative loses from innovation and it's almost impossible to catch them).
    http://podcasts.speedtv.com/formula1...627-1302983213

And I'm pretty sure, even if Ferrari finally makes a flex wing, it wouldn't even gave more than 0.7s...

    Btw,
I read a lot about how Vettel is not good in here...
He may have the car, but he is arguably the best qualifier of the last years by far...
    That says everything...
Also, don't be so sure that if he was in the same team with Fernando or Hamster, that they would beat him...
I would say that most probable is the opposite, regarding his pure speed.
Wonder what some here would say when Vettel wears the Prancing Horse on his chest (some day)

    Btw again,
there is a huge rumor in Autosport that Ferrari doesn't want to renew the contract of Felipe for 2012, but neither does he...................!

Vettel is a great driver when everything works perfectly. I have yet to see him drive fast when there are problems with the car. Alonso did just that in last year's Malaysian GP. Remember his car would go into neutral every time he downshifted. He essentially had no engine braking effect, not to mention the balance of the car was probably completely destroyed, yet he still manged some pretty quick lap times. Of course, that was until the engine let go. I just don't see Vettel having that type of talent. Rember that RB is the easiest car to drive. Very little input from the steering wheel needed to get the car to do what you want. If you've every played any racing sims, you know that when you add downforce to a car it becomes exponentially easier to drive.

P.S. I would love to see Steve Matchett, David Hobbs, and Martin Brundle form an all start announcing team. One guy knows A LOT about the technical side of F1, and can explain things so normal people understand it. The other is funny as hell, and Martin Brundle... well it's Martin Brundle, nuff said.

The fact that RB is the best in handling and downforce and balance, does not necessarily mean though that any other driver in RB would beat SV...

What I see, is that this kid really knows to step on the limit and not pass the limit...
But anyway, that's just an opinion. I can't know what would happen with another top teammate, but I can't stand some saying that the "x" driver would beat him (without even a way to prove it)...
    Maybe...
    Maybe not.......................

Fact is, this guy had a car that qualified 1s faster than anyone, on some tracks 1,5s, and had almost the same speed advantage during races, yet he won his championship in the last race because other drivers had bad luck, as his victory depended on what others achieved in that race because he went to Abu Dhabi behind in the WDC table.

He may be very good, but let's not kid ourselves or rewrite history, 2010 just as 2009, was a case of the lead driver doing their best to lose the championship, and their car not allowing them to.

The McLaren boys can't keep their hands off Vettle

Now they are checking his rear end (diffuser or rear wing maybe)

They should learn from Alonso, this is how its done. 'See with your eyes, not with your hands'.

Erm its kind of the other way round - go back and look how many points Vettel lost due to mechanical issues, its more than any of the other title challengers. He would of won by a fair margin if his car had worked all year

    No need to say more...
If Vettel didn't have so many car problems (despite the fact what happened in Turkey and his stupid move in Spa), his championship would be locked easily...
