    Great models..I used to have a collection of afx slots..bought plastic bodies of all sorts of sports racers, had F1 cars, I used to change the layout to diff tracks, I had the grass, hills, chicanes and pit crews w/garages..it was a great hobby while I had it....n winter? Whats that? Im in Florida..82 today

    There is also the 2011 ROC..I just read that the American beat Vettel!!

    And for those interested in some great pix, AND vids.... there is the Bologna Auto Show happening..New 599 GTO Evolutione.....Killah!!
    Great pix of the new 500 Abarth plus many other marques.
    1 thing I didnt like, Fiat introduced the Chrysler 300 w/moded bits as the new Lancia...sacreligious I may add.

    Yea, I think it starts sat w/the nations cup..I belong to F1 austin on Facebook, thats where I read it..not very dependable, but some good pix.

    Well, I'll keep up with the F1 news and of course visit these forums every day, but that is going to be all this winter I think. Have enough work to do between F1 seasons.....taking my musclecar apart and repaint it...takes a lot of time too. (and money :xmasfrown: )

    Ferrari payed Kimi 45 million € not to drive in F1 for 18 months.

    Kimi was given 2 options and the option with more money kept him out of the Sport for 18 months, he took that one.

    If Ferrari were so "afraid" of Raikkonen, why didn't they keep him?

    Not for us who live in the southern hemisphere, summer starts in about ten days, Beach Time!
    I'll spent January at Punta del Este (Uruguay) beaches and come back home just in time for the first tests.

    the FIA gala was a couple days ago, wasnt it? would like to see the highlights. i'm pretty pumped up for 2012, can't wait.
