he's only human, a mighty one that is...and he can only do so much with what he has in his hands at the moment...
one can only imagine what he would do with a car on pace with red fools....he'd distroy the living spirit of the screaming school girl.....vettel!!!

it's sad to see such a talent wasting his time with a slower car than the rivals....

Alonso seems confident of the races to come; maybe he knows something BIG is coming from ferrari in the coming races...let's all hope so and take the WDC in BRASIL!!!
So the SF-24 has been a decent car. Lets hope that the totally redesigned from the ground up SF-25 contender will be a beast that will give us tifosi something to smile about.

His stats will never show the true picture. Should have been 5 time Champion by the end of this year

indeed, Ferrari have let him down two years in a row...hopefully we can still fight this year, if not, well there's always next year...

No I really don't so stop making things up. If he feels he is wasting his time then he can leave.

He has won the title 2 times, everyone can see he is the best driver on the grid right now. Maybe you hold the WDC more highly than anything.

95% of the grid drives slower cars than the Ferrari, so what are you talking about?

that ferrari needs to improve slightly, if they want to get that WDC....i'm sure Fernando want to win it...coming second at the end of the year, he himself said it before that it is the first place of losers...

would winning the WDC make you think he is a better driver?

Alonso is certainly the best driver out there at the moment. I don't believe for a moment any other driver could have achieved what we did this season given the situation with our performance. Maybe Vettel could have done well too when its as tough for him as it is in Ferrari right now, but who knows.

This is Formula 1, car's technical superiority is as important as driver's talent so I'm proud of what Ferrari and Alonso achieved this season even if in the end we couldn't win the WDC.

It is quite obvious that for most F1 fans only the drivers title counts. For the media too. Just wait for the unbearable hype when Vettel wins his third in a row.

i didnt' say that; i KNOW he's the better driver....in fact he's THE BEST DRIVER on the grid currently...but as he said, winning the WDC with Ferrari will be something special for him...and we can all tell that he's EAGER to do that sooner than later...

...hopefully Fernando and Ferrari will have something to say about that in the last lap of the last race in BRASIL....it would be fantastic to see vettels face when Fernando will steal it from him...

i'm sure Fernando will go for it FULL ATTACK MODE...he's got nothing to lose at this point, because the screaming school girl is leading teh WDC now

If Ferrari has promised him a winning car, then yeah, they obviously didn't deliver. But if Ferrari promised nothing then its not a let down at all. 2nd or even 3rd place is still a great result, way better than he could achieve with Renault/Lotus or Mclaren atm.

Nobody has performed like this since Schumacher at his peak. It's amazing to watch.

I know many people that want to waste their time like Alonso. He's in the best team but Red Bull is nearly unbeatable at the moment. It's disappointing but there's only one thing he can do: keep pushing! Hopefully there's a big upgrade for the last three races of the season.

And yes, Alonso is God but Newey and a state-of-the-art team structure is more important than any driver.

If we win in this situation, it will be the sweetest win ever (much more than what Kimi did in 2007).
