No,I don't think he will leave until his contract expires,or unless maybe for whatever unforeseen reason he gets sacked:)
I joined the Ferrari team when Alonso got on board and i make no secret of hiding it,but for sure I will support Ferrari even if he leaves or gets sacked!
I honestly don't understand why some members get angry if some would say, well if Alonso decides to leave,he can go,and take his fans with him!! I mean if I was supporting a team, from a long time ago,and a member made me feel, that my team is only worth it,if alonso is around,I would be seriously !! And my answer would be,if you think so,then you and your driver, don't deserve to be in my team period!!

It's just sad to see members of the same team attacking each other, just cuz they have a soft spot for one of the drivers! It's like Barcelona VS Real Madrid!!!

I could have been clearer in my original post though.

I started as a Ferrari fan but Ferrari has gained a lot of fans over the years from driver fans who stay when their driver leaves. That's probably why they have more than any other team actually. A very good friend of mine is now a Ferrari fan because she was a Fernando fan first. She says she likes being a Ferrari fan much more than she ever did a Renault or McLaren fan.

Don't play dumb with me. I'm better at it than you are.

FA fan, if you are referring to REDARMYSOJA and me, we just had a little misunderstanding which has already been cleared up completely.

I do agree with you that fans of the same team should not attack eachother, but maybe we all are a bit like a Ferrari: we rev up quickly

To be honest I have bever been fan of any team before - Ferrari is the first and will be the last.
I have been an F1 fan for over 30 years now, I was a fan of Gilles Villeneuve, and most of all Senna (I have seen every F1 race he ever drove, including the last...) and then later Fernando.
But never a team...until Fernando moved to Ferrari.

I've been a Ferrari fan first and foremost, since early 80's. Drivers come, drivers go. Liked some, loved some, hated a few. Yes, I do have favorites, I even have favorite drivers that are currently driving in some other teams or other classifications, but I'm not a _fan_ of any driver. The team comes first, the drivers second for me. Like I noted before, I won't mind if we hire two drunken monkeys as long as they finish 1-2 every race and throw some bananas when they are on the podium. I respect our drivers, even cheer for them, but if they start disrespecting the team they can leave as quickly as possible.

There is no I in the team. That is also the reason I personally value the WCC over WDC as it is a TEAM EFFORT and shows the team that could build the best car and had two good enough drivers to gather more points than other teams. And I know I'm not the only one around here.

Is there something wrong about people being fans of Alonso? Your tone suggests you have a problem with this.

Oh okay this explains it then. If that's how they behave then your earlier tone is understandable. My apologies.

@ntukza, if you read on last page you would of seen Reds post...

If someone feels it is aimed at them, it probably is and that's their own guilt showing. If you haven't been bashing the team then it's not about you.

And anyone who reads my posts will know I have nothing but the utmost respect For Fernando and wouldn't trade him for any other driver out there, not even two or three of them.

Yes true. Sometimes I don't read too far ahead before I comment because it becomes too much, then I still have to go back and find the post to quote it and I've forgotten what I wanted to say. It would have helped in this case though. Thnx

Will Alonso Leave Ferrari at the end of the Season if he doesn't win the WDC?
    Let's examine this question:
IF HE DOES'NT WIN THE WDC: let's put that to rest, answer HE WON'T!!
Why? The Ferrari is third best team in Qualy: RB and Mercs are faster in Qualy, case closed!!!!
Why? The Ferrari is third best in race pace: RB and Lotus Renault are proving the red cars are lacking in overall speed. (Lotus could not be caught last Sunday)

Alonso will stay with the prancing horse at the end of the season, there really is no other team to go to, and he is signed till 2016.
I really feel for the two time world champion Spaniard who took down Schumaker. I really thought when he came to Ferrari he would win a few more WDCs but that will not be case again this year! Apparently one of the greatest manufactures of the greatest super sportsc car can't build a winner!
Boys and Girls on this board: Massa will NOT be back next season!

Without Alonso, Ferrari wouldn't be anywhere near or even remotely near the front. Even another driver to the caliber of Felipe wouldn't bring results to ensure where Ferrari is now.

Name another driver that would bring home results like Fernando with the kind of machinery Ferrari have been making since 2010?

No matter how much you dislike him, you can't deny his MAGIC!

Have you considered Vettel or Hamilton?

It isn't surprise that I'm a big Alonso Fan too for my personal view he is the completest driver in the whole field today. And maybe he hasn't deserved as much of titles yet at Ferrari as many of us would wish. BUT we have also to consider that Fernando gets also all attention of the whole Ferrari team. Maybe in the same amount as Schumacher got in the old days. So it is a complete driver with a crew of FERRARI who pays him attention as much as the can too. He will be hopefully reminded as one of the all time greatest in this sport due to his completeness (and personally one title of Fernando with Ferrari would mean for me much more than all 5 from Schumacher ... personally!!!!). But magic is the dawn or the sunrise on a beautiful place ...

    Cheers ...

Seb is a fast driver in a fast car, we have yet to see him fight for victories or his team building skills. Lewis is a great all-rounder and can make the most of a given situation but both drivers don't have the same qualities as Fernando as we have seen over the past 3 years.

The only thing that would be good about Alonso leaving is the over spaniardness of the team at the moment would go.
At times you would think its a spanish team and not an Italian one.

Even if Ferrari pay him extra attention, what is wrong with that? Its only natural to support your strongest player otherwise his talents are being wasted...Ferrari have to maximize what they can get from Fernando and vice-versa. When Felipe starts punching in some consistency, I'm sure Ferrari would shift some extra focus on him too. Since 2010 Fernando has somewhat rescued Ferrari from falling in the mid-fields and has given all of us Ferrari supporters something to hold our heads high about.

He has had above average, even great car with us during 2010, 2012 and 2013. No, we won't likely ever again achieve the kind of dominance that was the era of Schumacher during 2000-2004 when everything seemed to play into our hands. Particularly this year I think apart from the last few races our car has been between good and excellent, with Pirelli being the main concern causing trouble (and not just with our car). If you think that team won't try it's very best each and every weekend and keep claiming that Fernando is this faultless, godlike figure that is severely mistreated - you are in the wrong forum. I think Alonso does have fanforums for his personal worship.
