I've been silent reading for quite a few days so I figure I can finally put my $0.5 about this.
I believe that the fact that Ferrari is taking Kimi back is one great move and we're finally having the greatest pairing in the grid. I realize that among us, there are a lot that don't like this ; A lot of the members of this forum do not like Kimi's style and then there are many that love Massa (and for good reasons), however, the fact remains that come December , the pairing of the drivers will be Alonso and Kimi, equal status.
And that is going to be a really interesting thing to see.
I am not nervous about it. I believe that none of them will cause issues, and both of them will push one another forward, and that is only going to be good for the team. I also am quite confident that the sign that Kimi agreed to come to the team is a positive sign about the strength of the car. Or at least bout the faith of Kimi to the car. But for that we'll have to wait and see.
About Massa,
I believe that most of us knew, that he was not going to be here next year. There is no sense to keep a driver that scores half the points the other driver scores. His loyalty to the team is unparalleled and for that we all (including me) loves him however, you cannot run a tight ship based on emotions alone and I am pretty sure this is what the management of Ferrari had in mind when they made the decision. I do am grateful to Massa for all the things he's done for the team and all the memories and I do wish him the best , as long as he won't get victories over Ferrari (sorry, I am a Ferrari fan after all).
Other than that, I hope we have some great races, hopefully Massa gets a victory in Brasil and roll on next year, it's going to be an exciting year :)
