I'm looking forward to tomorrow's race. Fernando did a great job to get P3, especially given how lacklustre the car has been recently, and Felipe is also in the top 10. I hope it's a wet race tomorrow so that hopefully we can have an action packed race with an interesting result. Hopefully our guys have a great end to the season.

I thought Fernando did a brilliant job, but it was a 8 out of 10 performance
Felipe can hopefully have a good race tomorrow.

IIRC, last year both Alonso and Massa finished on the podium. Hopefully that's what we'll see again tomorrow.

Good session. Fernando done really well, small mistake in Q3, shame as P2 was on the cards. Not sure what Felipe was doing, didnt see him make mistake (dry set up)

Like to see Felipe have good race tomorrow last race for us at his home race. And fingers crossed he can get up near podium. Im sure if Fernando in 3rd and Felipe was 4th near final few laps, im sure he will/would move aside for Felipe to get podium. We in for good race tomorrow im sure.

And it is such a tragedy if Vettel wants to be funny:
or yesterday in Austrian TV: Austrian public broadcast brought a 2013 review (bit early for my opinion) and of course Vettel was joining there with a joke ... just enjoy ...

a rabbit is running against a stone where a turtle is sitting on. When the rabbit awoke from the crash he lost his mind. So the rabbit asked: who I am. The turtle was looking on him and says: "Long ears, short fluffy tail and long teeth ... You're rabbit. The rabbit give thanks to the turtle and runs away ... A bit later same turtle is sitting on a stone in the water. A crocodile crushes against the stone and when it woke up again it lost also the mind and therefore asked the turtle: who I am? The Turtle is looking to the crocodile and says: big mouth, big tummy and short feet ... you are Italian ...

    Very funny ...
"If I was driving for Red Bull [from 2008] probably I would have more championships, but because they were dominating between 2010 and 2014 probably I would never have driven for Ferrari. I am very happy and very proud to drive for Ferrari, all my time there.

Bravo Fernando and I really thought Felipe was going to get near him on his last run but he must have had a moment somewhere, at least they're both in there so anything can happen tomorrow. Still Vettel manages to walk his way to pole, though, this is unbearable.

You have seen the Vettel onboard? Not a single correction, the Redbull goes better in wet then Ferrari in dry conditions...

Does anyone of you maybe have a link to that scene?

    Thank you ...

starting P3 is probably better than P2. Clean side and you don't get bottled up on the inside (e.g. see Massa vs Vettel's start last year).

It was on his second lap of the last stint after he managed to get in 3rd. The time was 46.8 - 8 tenths slower then what he did in the previous lap.

In the lap where he did the mistake, alonso did his personal best S1 (21.7), mistake in S2 (46.8) and fastest of all S3 (19.2).

I love that mentality. Goes to show the atmosphere in our team is as good as always, and the media are just trying to stir things up. Glad it's not working :)

Just goes to show that much of it is the car in Vettel's case, but much as I hate to say it, he is becoming pretty convincing as a great driver too. But he can't perform miracles to Fernando standards!

He said it himself during the press conference, that the mistake cost him probably P2.

We all know how Fernando's starts are, so I think we don't have to worry about him tomorrow. He will get a good result.

Therefor I suggest WE ALL will cheer for Felipe tomorrow, he has to come from 9th and I just WANT him to have a great farewell race tomorrow in front of his homecrowd!

What an incredibly touching comment from Andrea Stella to Fernando. Beat that y'all!

Except for Felipe , of course. Few other drivers can have had the affection shown them that he's had on this site.

Vettel was doing 276 already before the last turn, so the speed trap could be at that place.

His top speed was around 287 kph
