Alonso is hiding behind his sun glasses. He is clearly a man under pressure.

Hahah, i hope you are kidding. I think Alonso is capable to act calm if that was the case :D
Probably he was keeping the sunglasses on to do a bit of marketing for Oakley.

I think he is the one giving some pressure atm. He has hard time to convince everybody that he doesn't regret his departure from Ferrari though.

I think he was quite clear that finishing 2nd really wasn't what he was looking for no more, we are still not winning.

Yeah but we are way closer to winning then Mclaren is.
    And Alonso is getting older.

And how many laughed at Lewis joining Mercedes at the time. Let's hope Ferrari can actually make him regret leaving by winning titles.

Fernando will drive the Mclaren for free just to prove to Ferrari he was right to leave!
One more reason why our Team needs to work harder and be on top once more.

Oh i don't doubt Mclaren Honda will start winning. But i think Ferrari will be a title contender way sooner. Mclaren may be a title contender in 5 years.

How can you be sure? Ferrari is committed to F1 and will win again, that is a certainty. Honda?... they tried it once succeeded, tried again, failed and left. Who's to say that they'll wait 2,3,4,5, years to win again. If they don't see results soon, it might just be easier for them to pack up and save face.

So what are the chances that the Scuderia will do two stops in this 66 lap race (on lap 17-18 and 39-40) while the Mercs will have to stop three times (on laps 14-15, 30-31 and 46-47)? We are +0,5 behind in race pace, that's +10 in 20 laps and +20 in 40 laps. With one stop in hand we're 2-3 seconds infront with 10 laps to go. Maybe one Merc will beat the trailing car but in this scenario we can fight for the win, especially with the traffic and blue flags at lap 50 to the end. This happend in Sepang. Why not here, it's the same?

I just hope we end up with a good result here today. Track temps would be pretty hot I believe since the race would be in the afternoon. Plus the quali mode of the merc PUs won't be a factor anymore.

well i doubt that again..cos last time red bull was close to merc and so was williams..but they apparently are not any close this year.next year could be another shuffle.unless rules of engine are changed again..back to v8 or v10 merc still gonna be top dogs

Ferrari is going to be back to win the double eventually. Laying down a fixed time-limit on it is needless. As long as the line in the team is changed and going forward, things are going to go improve. The only thing now is to keep improving and not obsessing about when to win the next time. Rome fell, so will the german-britons.

About the race, Kimi has to perform a great start to attack the STR's to get to Bottas ASAP (preferably the first corner). It would also not be a regretful thing if the Mercedes cars cocked up completely in someway.
Obviously it will also be about who blinks first regarding the stops.

Breaking news in Spain as FIA clamps down on trick fuel systems - new 'constant' fuel rate demanded. It could impact Merc v Ferrari battle
Teams have been playing around in area all year. From now on, fuel flow rate: "must remain constant above a flow rate of 90kg/h.

just watched the GP2 race, will be crucial for our drivers to don't get stuck behind cars since the tyres will degrade hard. I think we really need to think about that with strategy in stead of the long shot to Merc, P3 and P4 would still be a good result.

Also, I think we need to do something about our young drivers, Marciello is fast, but it really doesn't work out for him, today silly mistake, spun behind virtual safety car.. when he was driving P3.
If we want a young driver I think we need to get Stoffel Vandoorne away from McLaren, he is really really good...

I assume this is something completely different from the previous fuel rate issue where the FIA demanded changes by Bahrain GP?

This fuel rate thing gets more complicated each time we hear about it.
