We need another P1-P2 finish in the next race to make any challenge for the last 2 races

assuming Mclaren get 3-4 we'd only net 16.

and don't forget without an update we won't be competitive in Qatar, and of course it's a sprint weekend. That weekend could completely nullify any gains made in Vegas.

we'll need some help from Mclaren.

So what is everyone’s thoughts on post race penalties?

Will Norris get a penalty/DQ for the race start?
Will both mercs get DQ for changing tire pressures?

Not sure when we are getting any update on this but stewards must be very busy at the moment.

Anyone see Max calling out the British media in the post race conference room? Priceless!!!
It's not how start but how you finish.

Norris, Lawson, Russell and Tsunoda, team manager all called to report to stewards for aborted start infringement.

Sainz also called for dangerous driving, both Merc drivers for tyre pressure change with wheels on car.

Hahaha he absolutely grilled them for the skewed media coverage over the last few months.

I wonder where our friend tifosi is hiding since he finds max as "nothing special"..

A lot for the stewards to sort out. I hope they come to sensible conclusions.

Must admit I had to laugh at Max's dig at the absence of the British press in the press conference.

“Did they have to run to the airport — or they don’t know where the press conference is?”

    Norris might get 10sec penalty
    Russel & Ham DSQ.

This is the max it’s gonna happen.

But what I am expecting is Norris to be DSQ as well.

If you leave the pitlane when its red its a DSQ, so the start punishment should be just the same IMO.

If Norris take a 10s penalty, he's NOT gonna lose his place for 0,7s !!!!!And even if Rus & Ham DSQ ,again nothing will change point wise, because Lec ,Nor and Pia (the drivers who play a role in the championship) will move a place and gain 2 more points each, so the same difference.

Yup. He doesn’t loose any place. If he’s DSQ’d then WCC will get more interesting.

I read somewhere in the X space

Merc got €5,000 fine for tyre pressure infringement
Leclerc got €10,000 fine for Mexico press conference

So press conference infringement is more important than tyre pressure?

    Absolutely ridiculous.
