We don't have Sanchez anymore!!
Lewis loving it fastest times and faster than this time last year. The SF 25 is starting to stretch its legs with Lewis. Its only testing but looking ok
On the other hand, I don't like much doing fast laps. Like a 3lap stint just for 1 push lap and in.
Rus did 0,5 slower but he then did a 10 lap stint.
For sure we don't nlkniw the fuel loads ,just saying.
And everybody are faster this year.
Sainz on the Williams doing 1:30 flat on C2s and on medium stint.
But at least it is good to read that on drivebility we are quite good today
So all three F1 cars, the RB21, MCL39 and SF-25, have the front pull rod suspension. In comparison to all 3, the RB21 and MCL39 have the more aggressive angle with the pull rod suspension meaning it comes way lower in the chassis compared to the SF-25. Both RedBull and Mclaren have been using the pull rod suspension for quite awhile (more than 2 years) and have capitalized in utilizing this pull rod suspension to it's utmost performance hence the aggressive angle in both cars. Ferrari hasn't used the pull rod suspension setup for 10 years since their last car was the SF-15T with the pull rod suspension. We will see if this more aggressive angle in the front pull rod suspension in both the Mclaren and RedBull will be the difference to Ferrari's less aggressive angle in the front pull rod suspension with regards to tire longevity, cornering and braking distance.
It's not how start but how you finish.
What's up with Williams??
Just watched live timing with both Sai and Lec in track with similar fresh C3s and Sai was over 2 tenths faster then Lec after S2 and he backed out in the final sector. He already has the fastest lap. If we are not running a lot more fuel it's quite impressive by Williams.
How come and suddenly 1 team can find more then 2s from one year to another???
It happened with AM and mostly with McL and now Williams???
Not many laps today
Lawson's pm long run stints(day 2) show very little signs of tire degradation. That was on the C2 and C1 tire.

so i was watching highlights from the FIRST day of testing and i saw some footage of the ferrari running with a cutout in the engine cover....was wondering if any of you had any idea as to WHY?
engine cover cutout 1.PNG
Forza Ferrari SEMPRE!!!
Is there a site that shows live stint times per driver?
engine cooling??? really??? it was only 15 Deg celcius yesterday....it don't get much cooler then that in Bahrain.....hopefully we didn't package the engine too tight and have enough cooling. Cause if we need to make the engine cover looser OR open it up we'll lose quite a bit of performace
The car looks way, way better today
IF YOU CAN DREAM IT, YOU CAN DO IT - ENZO FERRARI
Oh god, I hope the fuel loads between Charles and Lando are atleast half a race more fuel for us. The way Lando caught Charles and than the pace he had in creating a gap is scary.
I am watching the morning session right now as I couldn't have done that due to work as well and seeing Lewis doing his fast laps, the car appears managable, stable, not dancing on the edge of grip all the time constantly switching between understeer and oversteer like it did yesterday.

Comparing stints of Leclerc and Norris on Hard compounds.14 lap old tyres for NOR, 17 for LEC. Norris in mid-low 32s, LEC mid-high 34s.
No way the difference in race pas is that match, wondering what are we doing differently compared to McLaren.
Much like last season McLaren have found a way for their tyres to have basically no degradation. Clearly doing something the other 9 teams aren’t and much like the mini DRS and flexi front wing, you can guarantee it’s not legal but since it’s them the FIA aren’t bothered. Guess this is what happens when you have MBS at the helm and McLaren backed by the emirates.
Both Norris and Lec did a race sim.
Norris was clearly faster ,probably more then 0,5 / lap.
From this it doesn't look good for us at all.
Are we so confident with our pace and we are hiding, or we are slow???
LeClerc C1 and Norris C2 on last stints. Air temp 14 degrees and much bigger gap between C1 and C2 this year. With colder temps that could be part of it. As testing thry can run race sims differently. Maybe Ferrari just looking for similar laps. After 1st few laps LeClerc was in 35's and at end with nearly 100kg fuel was only 1 to 1.5 seconds a lap faster. So many variables. My gut feeling though without any rral evidence is McLaren are a bit quicker.
no-one knows mate, at lease NONE of us.....the ONLY people that know is Ferrari, they know exactly how much fuel they had in the tank, what engine mode they used....etc
i wouldn't worry too much or lose too much sleep over this.....
Q3 in OZ will tell us all the answers as to where we stack up against the competition
