Isn't the rule like this: After the qualification ends the cars have to drive back into the pits by it's OWN power...? I Remember reading this and even hearing this in the TV. Vettel's car clearly did not return to the pits by it's own. This should be penalty for him.

Regarding our pace... pathetic, nothing else to say.

I think its the car need to have enough fuel to return to the pit on its won power. So if the car stop halfway, it must still have the fuel required to return to pits. Only if the remaining fuel is not enough to return to pit, that they will be penalize.

What is the relevance of Schumi here? I just said that Alonso is part of Ferrari now and he wins and loses with the team. If he is contending for the title, then good for him, and the team. But you can't say Ferrari is in the title fight just because of Alonso. That is absurd! The car improved a lot since the start of the season. Without those improvements and Ferrari's bullet proof reliability, Alonso would be nowhere near the top of the standings, even though he is a very talented driver.

This was quite disapointing! For all the People, For all of the Skill, Forall of the Engineering that Ferrari possess, they have fallen behind. When the world of Formula One is measured in 10th's of a second, Ferrari are a massive amount behind. In comparison to the other race cars, this Ferrari is againmuch less than what it should be at this time of year. My personal feeling is the Chief Designer at Ferrari should be replaced and a vastly more talented person sought to have the answers Ferrari as an F1 team is having so much trouble understanding and finding solutions to. Ferrari needs a person that has a much greater scope of the vision of reaL innovation. In the end, the things that Red Bull introducing to keep their race car on top are the ideas and know-how to advance a race car. These are the things Ferrari have had such a difficult time with. They just don't have the direction, the tools, nor the people to have far reaching ideas to build speed into a race car at this level.

If Vettel keeps his 3rd place, I reckon he will have an awful race, maybe a DNF, Alonso needs 4th or higher to regain the lead though? Hamilton to win it if Alonso can't, 2nd or 3rd for our man, take JB at the start, Raikkonen doesn't defend these days, it's just Maldonado we gotta worry about!

I am sorry but he is partly right. The car was never the fastest out there and at most times it was 3rd or even 4th fastest and that's not enough. It was really Alonso pushing the car when it wans't supposed to be (everybody at the paddock agrees). Without him, we would be nowhere near the title. Nowhere.

Well I didn't say it was all Ferrari. All I'm pointing at is that it was and still is a COLLECTIVE effort- Ferrari improved a lot during the course of the season, and Alonso doing his magic on track. You can't say it was purely Alonso's effort or purely Ferrari's improvement. It is a combination of both.
