Can team communicate with driver with that new big display, or is that not allowed by the rules.
It would be handy to stealth communication..
I believe that the data available on the new McLaren manufactured screens is limited, and it is less info than was previously available. There is some limited communication capability, primarily from race control to warn of track conditions like local yellows or red flags.

Nope.
From 2014 technical regulations Article 8: Electrical systems, 8.5 Telemetry, 8.5.2 Pit to car telemetry is prohibited

If this is true.. its going to be between Mercedes and Ferrari this year. Basically Alonso vs Hamilton
What the hell are you people talking about!? :-??
How can you wright off Red Bull and Mclaren!?
There is so so many variables in this sport (engine unit reliability, car reliability, fuel consumption, engine unit efficiency, engine power, usage of tires, car aero, strategy and so on, and so on) that NO ONE should not even think about writing off Red Bull or Mclaren! One bad test or some problems for engine manufacturer do not mean that such strong and good teams will be unable to develop fast car! There are questions of our problems too! No one can tell for sure that we dont have (again) truck of car...
We must wait for first 2-3 if not more races to see pack order!
