Well he did say on the radio "this is ridiculous" when Massa didn't let him pass right after their pit stops. And don't forget Alonso's behaviour while at McLaren, he almost made Hamilton look a nice and friendly guy by comparison. ;)

Yep he shouldn't. Just goes to show what kind of character he has... The most decent thing he should've done is put Rob there and condone Massa and remind him of the bigger picture. Honestly, in as much as I love Ferrari I cannot stomach when things like these happen. I honestly thought the organization has been over the mistakes of the past. Apparently not...

Haha, hilarious, people need to wake up and realise it had to be done, a 1-2 and a step closer to Hamilton in the drivers champ, couldn't be better.

nope. I love massa, on his day he is rediculously fast, especially over a single lap and as a front runner, he is awesome.

But anyone who thinks he can win this world championship is deluded, he is not the driver alonso, hamilton or vettel is.

When Button passed hamilton, Hamilton passed him back and then mclaren gave the save fuel command, no one was complaining of team orders then, cos if it benefits Mclaren, its okay.

It's confirmed: Felipe is Fernando's whipping boy. Don't expect it to change as long as Santander finances the team.

So the non-partial people have spoken complete sense:

    Coulthard
    Schumacher

EJ doesn't count as non-partial he's usually a complete clown.

Most importantly our team is back! Reality is what it is and team orders are 'the elephant' in EVERY team's garage and strategy session.
A wonderful harvest of points for our team and my compliments to our outstanding drivers, BOTH of whome won today. FORZA FERRARI!!!

I think it was because Massa was pushing Alonso back into Vettel and I dont think it would have happened any differently if Alonso hadnt said that. For some reason, maybe im wrong, but when Massa is defending against Alonso hes prety good at not letting him pass. but when it comes to any other front runners this season Felipe doesnt even look like he tries.

Thanks. And I absolutely agree !! We race to win the WCC and WDC. The driver with the best chance gets the preference. Simple

Basically, that every team does it if it was the last or second last race of the season that everybody would be "yeah thats fine".

And that if at the end of the season you loose by that one point everybody would be saying why didn't you use team orders?

No he just knows what goes on in every team, if Ferrari could go back to 2008 and give Felipe 1 more point by moving Kimi, do you think Felipe would grab it with both hands?

I so love how the haters are going ballistic in other forums
Just for that it's worth it, being closer to both championships has just become the second best thing .

I'm an Alonso fan, and if the positions were reversed, and Massa was so far ahead and outqualifying and outpacing Alonso, I would be but admit this is the right thing to do. Greatness is achieved through victories, for decades now this has been a cheater's sport and almost everyone does it, sticking to the rules only makes you the looser, remember Valencia and the other 5 or so reprimands Hamilton got without penalties. Heck, in the past teammaters got out of their cars to let Fangio race lol.

Why has Alonso not won a race by himself this season? he needed Vettel to win Bahrain for him and Felipe to give him a win today. If he is such a great driver why is he not winning the races by himself. Why has he made so many mistakes this season? That was Felipe's race and Ferrari stole it from him. We lost the integrity we had today, I hope you think it is worth it in the end.

Michael knows the business and how the championship works. He's right that if we lost the WDC by a few points at the end of the season, everyone would be talking about this race and blaming the team. EJ's so funny BTW.

I understand what you are saying fully but come on...I want a WDC and WCC but they should be allowed to race...Both are great drivers and if Alonso is the fastest man (like many people say) on the grid then he should be able to get around him without a orchestrated pass.... Personally I wouldnt want to win or lose that way...

Just saw this on another forum and remembered this.

Damon Hill vs Ralf Schumacher, i think it was at Spa, Ralf much faster than Hill, Eddie Jordan stopped ralf from passing Damon Hill.

Eddie Jordan is the worst pundit of all time, end of story.

It's seven points (25 vs. 18), but I doubt Alonso will need exactly these 7 points, and I'm quite sure Massa's loss of motivation is going to cost the team more than that, in turn potentially costing the team the WCC... We'll see.

That is exactly the point, the only thing is that it's hard to see someone who deserved the win (he did) give it up.
You don't win championships if your drivers share everything, because someone else will have more points come end of the season.
