I wouldn't have seen this kind of result not even in my worst nightmares. These Pirelli tyres really killed us today. We were much more competitive even in Abu Dhabi.
I'd really like to know how Alonso intends on taking more points than the Red Cows tomorrow, like he said in an interview. Unless finger boy retires or we put somekind of a turbo boost on our cars, then getting more points than finger boy is going to be impossible. Finger boy is probably going to have a completely trouble-free race tomorrow...from pole to finish, together with a fastest lap.
I'm trying to stay positive, but it's getting harder and harder.![]()
If Ferrari dont produce a winning car soon could there be a possibility of Alonso breaking or buying out his contract?
It must be pissing him off by now.
They guy has skills. Needs to be given a competitive car.
.
we rather stay POSITIVE for 2013...
btw..hats off to Hamilton to split the bulls..and just 0.1 off vettel
Yeah and Lewis' car will prolly DNF anyway so another position won!
Hero's come and go, but legends never die!
It's not over, but it's not looking very good either. Very disappointing.
Disappointed Since 2010
Damn, missed qualifying again due to stupid time difference. Just to make sure the race will be on 11am California time tomorrow?

well if we can win championships under him.....the "image" won't really matter.....if Luca and the team care about image and other stuff...then we can put the championships to rest for a long time.......and btw, our image was not that great either in the Schumi-Brawn-Todt era.....what the fools are doing now......we were doing back then.....
US GP: Alonso certain he will outscore Vettel despite poor qualifying
Fernando Alonso, Ferrari, Austin 2012Fernando Alonso is convinced he will reduce the gap to Sebastian Vettel in the championship in Sunday's United States Grand Prix despite starting seven places behind the German.
Vettel secured his sixth pole position of the year at Austin on Saturday as his only title rival struggled for pace and finished down in ninth position.
Alonso will start from eighth thanks to a penalty for Lotus's Romain Grosjean.
The Ferrari driver, who was outqualified by team-mate Felipe Massa for only the second time this year, said his position was no surprise to him.
"Yes, we expected it," Alonso said. "We knew it was going to be complicated. We started seventh in Abu Dhabi and eighth here, so more or less the positions have been the same.
"As always, the race is tomorrow. I still think that tomorrow we are going to reduce the gap to Sebastian, which is what counts.
"He starts from pole and he has a very strong pace, but the race will be long and let's see if we can seize our opportunities."
The Spaniard needs to finish in at least fourth position to keep his championship hopes alive if Vettel wins the race, but he insisted he remains confident about his prospects.
"We'll see how the start goes. If he wins the race and then wins again in Brazil he will be champion and deservedly so.
"We are fighting to make it into Q3, so we have got here miraculously and we are going to try to hang on to hope.
"As I said, for whatever reason, I have the strange feeling that tomorrow we will reduce the gap."
with Lewis gone to Mercs nxt year.....i think we'll see 2011 all over again nxt year....with no real challenge from any teams......
I like him, if we had too and Luca felt need too, then i be happy for Flav to run us. But, Stefano good and doing good job. The team needs time to gel, as for the changes this year.
Sacking people just throws more instability into the team. Keep the team as the are, hire more people if needed (is needed) and get everyone and software working as 1 machine.
Forza Ferrari
CAVALLINO RAMPANTE PER SEMPRE
Well this year is pretty much done. Ferrari have to get on track with the Radical Red Bull race car for next year. The morphing Red Bull F1 race car is a LIVING ORGANIC product and tool for Vettel to use to crave up the competition. Ferrari have to take the rules book and find the limits of what can be tried then apply every bit of Aero knowledge they have to create the kind of products the Red Bull team have for the past 4+ years.
Ciao.
Forza Ferrari!!!!
Must say Lewis out performed his teammate and car by nearly 2 seconds and just missed out on pole. Hopefully he takes P1 by Turn 1 and wins while Seb gets a puncture![]()
