Really don't get the car to be honest. Scarbs will have to dig deep on this one. We've kept pull-rod so the front is high, but the low nose just ruins it.

Impressive packaging, sidepods are so small.
It is understandable that everyone is frustrated already, it truly is the F138 with a new ugly nose. The car is still bulky, no air flow from the front wing and small side pods when they were thought to be bigger for increased cooling issues.
Other teams seem to have took the new regs and started over with fresh, innovative ideas; where Ferrari seem to have just built off the f138.
Let's hope it's fast and reliable.

~FORZA FERRARI~
this year's cars are certainly something i must get used too. at least they all do not look the same
not gonna change my profile picture
OK...that looks like a car of the 90's...stop complaining,if you have any better ideas go to the team and expess them.We are not aerodynamicists..or designers...they know better their job...they decided this shape, this low nose,so there is a reason for this.Do you think they are idiots?Hope,it will be a winner car.
lol, those faces speak for themselves... uhm how the are we supposed to win the championships with this?

The sidepod looks like its slightly smaller to me, I think... the UPS logo area looks flat in. Hopefully this means our engine cooling is more compact![]()
What about the airflow ?
Disappointing; 2009 to 2016...
I think it looks decent, reminds me of the GP3, F3 cars. The nose was a surprise, cant see how that will maximizing the air flow to the rear but we have to trust the engineers. I know this is just a launch spec but I hope they will take benfit of the Y75 winglet (monkey seat) that is still allowed to use. Another thing that caught my eye was the lack of cooling openings which could be a good thing or become a problem the first day in Jerez.

Oh dear, pretty it's not, appears to me like a mish-mash of elements which just don't gel....hopefully it goes better than it looks.
There are some basic aerodynamic concept that is easy to understand if you take the time to read them up. You don't need the simulator to tell that the nose blocks off any airflow.
The nose is probably fake anyway. Still no image of Ferrari engine too. I guess that's how Ferrari roll, keep everything under wraps
Let's put our faith in the engineers knowing what they are doing. How the heck does anyone here know anything about airflow. Don't we all think that the designers would have scrapped this idea if they knew it hurt the airflow... Amazing everyone jumps off a cliff. Remember when we thought the engines were going to sound terrible. Well that Mercedes video yesterday sounded pretty cool. NOBODY KNOWS ANYTHING RIGHT NOW! RELAX! HAVE A BEER!!!! WAIT FOR THE SHOW TO START!!!!
Forza Ferrari!!
Well, as long as it's quick and reliable I will consider it beautiful.
I am sure that is not the final nose why would they keep the high chassis if they will have a nose like this?!!
In this case you just have the disadvantages, higher center of gravity and not much air over the floor towards the rear of the car.
any body think that the hole in the nose runs through the rest of the car? maybe for cooling or like an F-duct?

if you look at the nose of the car it does not meet the new rules so this will change.the tip has to be beyond the front wing there is a measurement that has to be met from the front axle to the tip
