FORMULA 1: FERRARI F138 COMES THE "EVO"

A preview of the number of Autosprint on newsstands Tuesday: from Barcelona appears on the F138's largest technical evolution have seen so far on the F138. Exhausts, wings, etc..
This article is excerpted from Autosprint 18 on newsstands Tuesday, May 7

For the first time, perhaps, for many years, the Ferrari arrives in May and at the beginning of the European season without having the (usually) need a "rescue" technique. Certainly, after four races the budget crying. There are already 30 points for Alonso to be recovered Vettel in the Drivers 'and 32 of disadvantage on Red Bull in the Constructors' (which at least suggests that the world's "number two" is not going well bad for Ferrari). But it is a gap mainly due to questionable management decisions of the wall - a pit stop not called in Malaysia, one too many in Bahrain - rather than a crisis of performance. As long as someone does not want to bring up bad luck.

However, the F138 changing face, as expected and necessary. With the aim of recovering something especially in pure performance over time on the qualifying lap. Because the pace is already pretty good and the logic is compelling: if we start from the front, we could manage the race with our step. Especially since even the Red Bull is perfect, and that Lotus is far from clear, not to mention McLaren.

Nikolas Tombazis, the designer, had anticipated: "The drains are still one of the areas where you can get more, as performance." And the tailpipes should represent the most important change on the Rossa in Barcelona. But there will be a number of interventions: in proportion, the "package" aero is also thicker than its launch at the Chinese GP. Not only drains, therefore, but interventions on the wings - this time should touch the rear - and the wind deflectors . In addition to the typical adaptations from track to track, as the outlets of the brakes that may be different from those of Bahrain ... (Continued)

If it rains the drains will prove useful.

Joking aside i fancy ferrari wins in the next 2 races. hope to see a little more caution i. the approach as with a fast car there is no need to fkrce it.

Any ideas on why there is "Solo Pit Stop" on one of the brakes or where the wheel goes! Sorry in advance for the incorrect explanation waiting for any repercussions heading my way!

    Thanks
