Unveiling of the 2014 car in first testing session in Jerez in January 28th to 31st?
Our new recruit : Gavin Bonney, who moved from Force India to Ferrari
I I found that video of Alonso and Stella on F1Technical , they were talking about Audi wheels and their design that is used for aerodynamic purpose and energy restoring concept! So they were probably eyeing it so they can use something similar on their car!
The best animation so far.

I quite like this kind of nose of F1 car![]()
only thing that I like about new outfit is that there are more black in it which is giving me hope for more black on our car... :)
F1's manufacturer teams have huge advantage in 2014, says Ferrari
By Jonathan Noble Thursday, January 2nd 2014, 14:09 GMT
Formula 1's manufacturer teams will enjoy a huge advantage in 2014 because of the complexities of packaging the new power units, reckons Ferrari technical director James Allison.
As teams continue to work on getting their new cars ready for F1's first pre-season test at Jerez that starts on January 28, Allison is in no doubts that 'works' teams Ferrari, Mercedes and Red Bull will have the edge over customer outfits.
"One of the massive advantages that this team has is that it has the engine and chassis under one roof," said Allison, who rejoined Ferrari last year after a spell at Lotus.
"That is an advantage in any year. But in one like this one, where you are packaging such a different power unit as has been necessary in a year like this - that advantage I think becomes quite large."
Ferrari's engine chief Luca Marmorini suggests that too much focus has been placed on the competitiveness of the engines alone, and believes success will ultimately depend on how the whole car comes together.
"Probably too much [emphasis] has been given to the power unit," explained Marmorini.
"The power unit is a big change, but also it will be extremely complex to incorporate the power unit in a competitive car.
"For Ferrari, this has been a joint project [between chassis and engine departments].
"With the power unit project, it has been fundamental for reliability.
"Any decision in terms of the engine has been as a result of discussions with the chassis people, because in the end the car has to win, not just the power unit."

CAVALLINO RAMPANTE PER SEMPRE
I don't know how reliable this is but someone on Autosport who claims to work in F1 said this:
Yes, there are a lot more rumors than you would imagine flying around. Lotus are releasing / have released around 60 technical people in the last few weeks, those people obviously move to other teams and stay in contact with eachother so general ideas etc get passed around.
I started in my team about 8 months ago and im probably the 5th person if you rank by longevity in our department.
It's hard to give any technical insight as we dont have much ourselves on what others are doing for confidentiality reasons. But it is believed that ferrari have come up with a neater/smaller packaging for a lot of their systems...
Obviously, it's impossible to know if they will be reliable..but word is they are in better shape then renault and merc...
If the cars look like that, then it'll be fantastic. But I fear they won't and that we'll end up with the ridiculous nose points.
I can confirm Jose Lorca's information. I've had information courtesy of an F1 employee that Lotus are in a lot of trouble and have laid off a lot of staff - telling them to find new jobs.
Rumours are definitely getting "louder" that we have indeed the smallest, sleekest and perhaps lightest engine which could give us huge advantage in terms of getting more room for aerodynamic creations than other teams that have "bulkier" and perhaps "heavier" engines from Merc or Renault... However it seems that such a package could have reliability problems and as I have understood our Ferrari gurus also have those concerns cos none have seen those engines in action packed in a car...So it will be interesting to see those tests in January and February...We should focus on reliability tests and see if Ferrari have some problems or not...If we can pack another reliable combination of car and engine then we could be one step ahead of opponents...fingers crossed :)
I think Ferrari was quite good in the Devlopment of the front wing this year and Rear wings aswell! But we couldnt find a good solution for the Diffuser( the ones uesd by RBR and Mercedes)
Sidepods were quite large and we only added those Vortex generators in the Final two races!
and I read on an F1 site that the size of RBR's rear wing this year in the second half of this year still meets the requirements for 2014's regulations, it looks like a page tilted at a small angle ..maybe cuz they were generating alot of Downforce from Diffuser and exhausts.
God please help Fernando Alonso win his long-overdue title with Ferrari IA. And may FERRARI Dominate F1 Again..FORZA
